Location: Kempton Park, South AfricaHominum Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a well-established logistics firm based in Kempton Park. They are seeking a detail-oriented Multimodal Estimator with experience across various transport modes to join their dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate quotations for air, sea, and road freight
- Analyze routing options, transit times, and carrier rates
- Collaborate with operations and sales to develop competitive proposals
- Evaluate risks, surcharges, and customs considerations
- Stay current with local and international freight tariff updates
- 3+ years experience in freight forwarding/logistics estimation
- Solid understanding of multimodal logistics and costing principles
- Familiarity with Incoterms, customs procedures, and quoting systems
- Proficiency in Excel and freight estimation tools
- Strong analytical and communication skills
