Raw Materials Supply Chain Specialist

As the Raw Material Supply Chain Specialist, youll manage inbound raw materials and bulk liquids, oversee stock control processes, and ensure smooth operations across multiple warehouses and production sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage inbound raw materials and bulk liquids, including scheduling, receipt, and ERP processing
• Oversee inventory control, stocktakes, cycle counts, and surprise counts across multiple sites
• Drive compliance with food safety, quality, and ISO standards, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting
• Monitor and run material replenishment plans for Durban and Johannesburg sites
• Lead supplier management activities to ensure on-time and in-full deliveries and manage returns
• Manage waste areas, health & safety protocols, and general warehouse compliance

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Education:
  • BCom in Supply Chain Management or a related field (essential)
• Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years experience in supply chain and/or warehousing, preferably within FMCG
  • Proven expertise in stock control, inbound logistics, and supplier management
• Skills:
  • Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros, Index & Match)
  • ERP experience Syspro and Translution (essential)
  • Preferably proficient in Power BI
• Other:
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational and communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet strict deadlines
