Warehouse Stock Controller Required Urgently

Job Title: Warehouse Stock Controller
Department: Warehouse / Operations

The Warehouse Stock Controller is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring proper warehouse organisation, and supporting efficient stock movement within the warehouse.

• Maintain accurate stock levels and conduct regular cycle counts

• Investigate and resolve stock variances

• Monitor slow-moving and obsolete stock

• Verify incoming goods against purchase orders and invoices

• Ensure accurate capturing of goods received (GRVs)

• Monitor dispatch accuracy to prevent incorrect stock from leaving the warehouse

• Maintain organised bin locations and proper stock storage

• Support warehouse safety, housekeeping, and stock protection

• Generate stock reports and ensure accurate recording of all stock movements

• 2–3 years’ experience in a stock control or warehouse environment

• Experience using inventory systems and general office software

• Moderate Microsoft Excel skills

• Strong attention to detail and good numerical ability

• Good organisational and problem-solving skills

• Understanding of inventory control principles

• Must be physically fit and able to perform manual warehouse duties, including lifting and moving stock

• Must be legally eligible to work in South Africa

• Understanding of ISO 9001 standards will be advantageous
