Department: Warehouse / OperationsRole PurposeThe Warehouse Stock Controller is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring proper warehouse organisation, and supporting efficient stock movement within the warehouse.Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate stock levels and conduct regular cycle counts
Investigate and resolve stock variances
Monitor slow-moving and obsolete stock
Verify incoming goods against purchase orders and invoices
Ensure accurate capturing of goods received (GRVs)
Monitor dispatch accuracy to prevent incorrect stock from leaving the warehouse
Maintain organised bin locations and proper stock storage
Support warehouse safety, housekeeping, and stock protection
Generate stock reports and ensure accurate recording of all stock movements
Minimum Requirements
2–3 years’ experience in a stock control or warehouse environment
Experience using inventory systems and general office software
Moderate Microsoft Excel skills
Strong attention to detail and good numerical ability
Good organisational and problem-solving skills
Understanding of inventory control principles
Must be physically fit and able to perform manual warehouse duties, including lifting and moving stock
Must be legally eligible to work in South Africa
