Description
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, managing stock control, and leading a team of warehouse staff to meet operational targets safely and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations:
Plan, organize, and supervise all warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
Ensure efficient workflow and adherence to operational procedures.
Inventory Management:
Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records.
Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
Implement stock rotation practices (FIFO/LIFO).
Team Leadership:
Recruit, train, and manage warehouse staff.
Develop staff performance plans and conduct performance reviews.
Ensure team compliance with health, safety, and security procedures.
Health & Safety Compliance:
Maintain a safe working environment and ensure adherence to occupational health and safety regulations.
Conduct safety audits and report incidents.
