We are looking for a hands-on, dependable, and technically strong IT professional to join an established IT services environment supporting small to medium-sized businesses.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced support environment and can combine technical expertise with team coordination and workshop oversight.
?? Role Overview
You will serve as a senior technical resource while also taking ownership of day-to-day workshop operations.
This is not a purely supervisory role you will be expected to lead from the front, remain hands-on, and drive efficiency within the technical team.

Location: Pretoria (Hatfield area)
Salary: R25,000 CTC (depending on experience)
Working Hours: 08:00 17:00
Position Type: Permanent

??? Key Responsibilities
Take control of workshop workflow and job visibility
Allocate, manage, and follow up on technician tasks
Improve turnaround times and reduce bottlenecks
Act as a technical escalation point for complex issues
Reduce reliance on senior management for daily coordination
Improve documentation, accountability, and follow-through
Enhance overall client service delivery
?? Minimum Requirements
35 years experience in IT support / desktop support / MSP environment
Strong hands-on experience with:
Windows desktops & laptops
Printers, peripherals & general IT troubleshooting
Microsoft 365 administration (user support, mail, basic tenant admin)
Solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, routers, Wi-Fi)
Fluent in English and Afrikaans
Valid drivers license
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
? Advantageous Experience
Previous MSP (Managed Services Provider) experience
Supervising or mentoring technicians
Windows Server exposure
Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD / SharePoint
Backup systems, antivirus, or endpoint management tools
Project rollouts or deployments
Client-facing IT support experience
