Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities

• Maintenance Oversight
  • Manage and coordinate all maintenance activities across multiple fast food stores.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment, facilities, and utilities are in optimal condition.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules.
• Technical Expertise
  • Apply electrical or mechanical skills to troubleshoot and repair kitchen equipment, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and general store infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food industry regulations.
• Team Leadership
  • Supervise and guide maintenance staff and contractors.
  • Provide training and mentorship to ensure adherence to operational standards.
• Operational Efficiency
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergencies to minimize operational disruption.
  • Manage maintenance budgets, track expenses, and source cost-effective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
• Compliance & Safety

• Ensure all stores meet occupational health and safety requirements.
• Implement and monitor safety protocols for staff and contractors.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years experience in maintenance management within fast food or retail environments.
• Recognized qualification as an Electrician or Fitter (trade test certificate required).
• Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment, refrigeration, and building systems.
• Proven ability to manage multiple sites simultaneously.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Own car, valid drivers license and willingness to travel between stores.
