CORE COMPETENCIES


- To have a sound knowledge and extensive expertise in curriculum studies.
- Ability to facilitate teaching, learning and assessment activities for a diverse group of undergraduate and postgraduate students in curriculum studies.
- Have the ability to guide programme development that is underpinned by curriculum principles.
- To be able to proficiently navigate and utilise the Moodle Learning Management Systems (LMS) to facilitate effective online teaching and learning experiences.
- Ability to promote and supervise the research at the postgraduate level.
- To maintain an active research profile and be recognised nationally and internationally.
- The ability to mentor and support younger faculty staff members.
- To have effective communication skills (verbal and written), good facilitation, training, and presentation skills.
- Must have at least 5 - 10 years of teaching experience at a higher education institution.
