The lodge is based in the Greater Kruger area and this position is ideally suited to a couple who are passionate about wildlife, hospitality, and delivering exceptional guest experiences within an intimate lodge environment. They should demonstrate strong communication, initiative, and the ability to maintain exceptional service levels while embracing the lifestyle and demands of remote safari lodge living.Role 1: Field Guide Candidate Responsibilities:Conduct interpretive game drives and, where qualified, guided bush walks in a Big Five reserveDeliver engaging wildlife experiences with a strong focus on guest safety and educationEnsure vehicle maintenance, reserve protocols, and guiding standards are upheldAssist with lodge operations when required, including guest hosting and activity coordinationCore Criteria:Valid FGASA qualification (minimum NQF2) and relevant guiding certificationsPreferably Trails qualification but not essentialValid PDP and First Aid certificationExcellent communication and storytelling skillsProfessional, guest-focused, and safety-conscious approachRole 2: Lodge Anchor Candidate Responsibilities:Oversee front-of-house operations and ensure seamless guest experiencesManage guest check-ins, hosting, dining coordination, and special requestsSupervise housekeeping standards and lodge presentationSupport administration, stock control, and daily operational flowCore Criteria:Previous experience in a luxury lodge or boutique hospitality environmentStrong organisational and administrative skillsExcellent guest engagement and problem-solving abilityProfessional presentation and leadership capabilityPackage:3 weeks on, 1 week off work cyclePrivate accommodation with en-suite bathroom and patioMeals, Provident fund and Uniform provided
