Junior HSE Officer

Our client, a well established market leader building/construction industry, specialising in luxury residential building projects, seeks to employ a Junior but qualified Health and Safety Officer to join their project team for 6-12 months, in the Winelands and Overberg regions.

Please note that due to the urgency of the role and the short term contractual period, only candidates from the Cape Town region will be considered
You will have completed either SAMTRAC or a Diploma in Safety Management, coupled with 5+ years experience in fully coordinating building project sites, on a regional basis, with a CHSO/ SACPCMP registration essential
Fall Protection Plan development and HIRA certification is also a requirement
You must have hands on experience in the building sector - specifically on luxury residential projects
You will be flexible to be site based for 2-3 weeks and have effective communication skills in English and Afrikaans
A valid driver’s license is essential
