Stripper & Assembler (All-Rounder) – Upholstery Workshop

About Us
We are a busy upholstery workshop specialising in high-quality furniture, automotive, and/or marine upholstery . We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Stripper & Assembler who can support our team with all-round workshop tasks.

• Strip existing furniture, car seats, boat seats, and other upholstery items.

• Assist with preparation work including foam cutting, gluing, sanding, and frame inspections.

• Assemble reupholstered items with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Keep the workshop clean, organised, and safe.

• Load/unload materials and assist with general workshop duties.

• Work closely with upholsterers and follow instructions precisely.

• Ensure tools and equipment are handled correctly.

• Previous experience in an upholstery, carpentry, automotive, or similar workshop environment is advantageous but not essential.

• Comfortable with physical work, power tools, and hand tools.

• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a small team.

• Good problem-solving abilities and a positive attitude.

• Must be able to lift and move bulky items.
