About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Upholsterer to join our team. This role requires someone with solid experience in upholstery, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as lead junior staff when required.Key Responsibilities
Full reupholstery of chairs, couches, headboards, boat seats, and various custom pieces
Cutting, sewing, foaming, pattern making, and frame preparation
Repairing and restoring both modern and antique furniture
Fabric measurement and material planning
Supervising or guiding apprentice/junior upholsterers
Ensuring high-quality workmanship and meeting project deadlines
Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment
Requirements
5+ years upholstery experience (furniture, automotive, or marine)
Proficient in industrial sewing machines, staplers, foam cutting, and related tools
Ability to work from drawings, templates, or verbal instructions
Strong problem-solving skills and precision in finishing
Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality craftsmanship
Valid driver’s licence (advantage)

We are a busy upholstery workshop specialising in high-quality furniture, automotive, and/or marine upholstery . We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Stripper & Assembler who can support our team with all-round workshop tasks.Key Responsibilities
Strip existing furniture, car seats, boat seats, and other upholstery items.
Assist with preparation work including foam cutting, gluing, sanding, and frame inspections.
Assemble reupholstered items with attention to detail and accuracy.
Keep the workshop clean, organised, and safe.
Load/unload materials and assist with general workshop duties.
Work closely with upholsterers and follow instructions precisely.
Ensure tools and equipment are handled correctly.
Requirements
Previous experience in an upholstery, carpentry, automotive, or similar workshop environment is advantageous but not essential.
Comfortable with physical work, power tools, and hand tools.
Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a small team.
Good problem-solving abilities and a positive attitude.
