Government Certified Mechanical / Plant Engineer

A well established Fast Moving Consumer Goods company in the East Rand is looking for a Government Certified Mechanical Engineer (GMR 2.7)Duties:Oversee the 24-hour manufacturing plant's electrical and mechanical needsDesigning and implementing equipment modifications to help improve safety and reliabilityInvestigating and testing ideas to improve existing systems or to overcome machinery problemsMaking parts, installing, and testing machineryCarrying out maintenance and identifying and repairing faults in equipmentSolving complex problems with manufacturing departments, sub-contractors, suppliers, and customersPlanning and designing new production processesMonitoring and commissioning plant and systems Skills:Knowledge of engineering science and technologyDesign skills and knowledgeAbility to work well with your handsAbility to use, repair and maintain machines and toolsExcellent attention to detailProblem-solving skillsPractical skills for repairing and maintaining equipmentAbility to deal with stressful situations in a fast-paced environment Requirements:Must have 15 to 20 years related experienceGovernment Certified Mechanical Engineer (GCC)
