Description
Use accounting knowledge and experience to learn how to implement Statutory Consolidation software projects that enable customers to automate their consolidation and reporting. The accounting knowledge is required to ensure the configuration for consolidation eliminations are accurate.
Primary Responsibilities for the Role
- Good understanding of Statutory consolidation process and rules
- Willingness to learn new software
- Although financial the role does require a level of technical software skills. The individual must be comfortable with basic computer skills and willing to pick up any new technical skills required to improve their implementation skills
- An understanding of accounting principles and how they influence statutory reporting
- A basic understanding of accounting package(s) and how transactions are recorded in these systems
- Ability to draw up financial reports from trial balance and supporting movement information
- Some experience with statutory and management reporting would be beneficial
- Ability to perform reconciliation of loaded TB’s and logic
- Comfortable to engage with people to determine their solutions requirements
Strong sense of productivity and time management
Minimum Qualification and Experience Requirements
- Accounting/finance/economics degree required
- Matric with a pass in Mathematics. (High mark in mathematics will be an advantage)
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
