Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee Drivers and Van Assistants, ensuring compliance and managing operational issues
• Drive sales and customer service on cash routes

Key Responsibilities:
Role Definition: The primary role of the Route Controller/Sales Supervisor is to oversee the Drivers and Van Assistants, ensuring they are complying with their job functions and manage day to day operational issues. They are responsible for driving sales and customer service on the cash routes.
Early Morning Shift:

• Assist despatch to ensure trucks loaded and despatched on time
• Ensure all Drivers and VAs are present
• Conduct crate count and report on Whatsapp
• Meeting with Sales Manager to discuss challenges and planning

Afternoon Shift:

• Handover meeting with Early Morning Route Controller
• Verify crate count and vehicle safety
• Train new drivers on procedures
• Inspect trucks for damages and faults

Route Rides:

• Conduct 2 route rides weekly
• Complete Route Ride Analysis form
• Formulate Sales Plan per route with Sales Manager
• Visit schools on routes for participation in competition

People Management:

• Set daily objectives for drivers and van assistants
• Monitor employee performance and conduct reviews
• Conduct team meetings to resolve issues
