Stock Controller

Location:

Requirements:

• Grade 12 (Matric) Essential
• Diploma or Certificate in Inventory Management, Supply Chain, Logistics or Warehousing Advantageous
• 23 years experience in stock control, inventory management, warehouse distribution or retail stock management
• Experience working within a warehouse or distribution centre environment
• Proficiency in inventory management systems (Accumatica advantageous)
• Strong computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Excel
• Good numerical accuracy and analytical skills
• Forklift licence advantageous (or recent forklift operating experience)
• Physically fit and able to perform manual labour
• Must reside in close proximity to Blackheath / Northern Suburbs

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and control warehouse stock and inventory levels
• Pull stock from invoices in line with company procedures
• Conduct regular stock counts and cycle counts, investigate and resolve stock variances
• Maintain accurate bin locations and bulk storage management
• Assist pickers with stock queries and replenishment
• Plan and allocate space for incoming shipments
• Ensure correct barcoding, labelling and stock allocation
• Process stock returns and inspect goods for damages or defects
• Assist with bulk deliveries, container offloading and stock unpacking
• Maintain warehouse organisation, housekeeping and compliance standards
• Provide guidance and support to warehouse staff when required
