Electronic Engineer

The Role
The Electronic Engineer will form part of a multidisciplinary engineering team responsible for the development and delivery of cutting-edge IIoT and machine vision solutions. The successful candidate will play a key role in product design, development and manufacturing support.

Key Responsibilities

• PCB design and layout
• Overseeing PCB manufacturing processes
• Contributing to hardware development from concept through production
• Collaborating with firmware, software and cloud teams to deliver integrated solutions
• Supporting product testing, optimisation and deployment
• Occasional overtime as required to meet project deadlines

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Electronic Engineering or related field
• Master's degree will be advantageous
• 35 years relevant industry experience essential
• Proficiency in Altium (PCB design)
• Strong working knowledge of C#, Python and Linux
• Experience working within multidisciplinary development teams

Remuneration
Salary package between R50,000 to R80,000 p/m - negotiable depending on qualifications and post-qualification experience
