Principal Process Engineer

Lead and deliver process engineering outputs across project phases, including simulations, mass and energy balances, and design documentation. Provide technical input during tenders, support commissioning and start-up activities, and drive process optimisation initiatives. Collaborate with stakeholders, resolve complex technical challenges, and mentor engineering teams while ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• BEng/BSc in Chemical or Metallurgical Engineering (Masters or PhD advantageous)
• 1015 years experience in mining, minerals processing, or heavy industrial environments
• Strong process design experience (flowsheets, mass/energy balances, PFDs, P&IDs)
• Proficient in process simulation tools (FactSage, HSC Chemistry or similar)
• Proven leadership experience with commissioning, client engagement, and team mentorship
