Minimum requirements: Relevant Diploma required with 3 years Imports and Exports experience / 3 years experience in similar environmentProcurement Operations: Prepare and process purchase orders, follow up on purchase orders, arrange daily collections or deliveriesEnsure all procurement documentation is accurate before goods receipt and submission to Accounts DepartmentSupplier Management: Source materials and services from suppliers, negotiate pricing, quality, delivery and payment termsMake procurement recommendations and conduct supplier auditsProcurement Administration : Administer and maintain supplier agreements and contractsMaintain and update material standards, exchange rates and raw material trendsProvide sample components for development and quality approvalInventory and Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with Stores Department to monitor inventory levelsCompliance and Reporting: Compile and submit weekly and monthly procurement reportsStrong negotiation and supplier management skillsKnowledge of procurement processes and supply chain principlesUnderstanding procurement legislation and compliance requirementsComputer literate, SAP, ERP system knowledge requiredConsultant: Edna Anderhold - Dante Personnel Pretoria Silver Lakes
