Description
Minimum requirements:
- Relevant Diploma required with 3 years Imports and Exports experience / 3 years experience in similar environment
- Procurement Operations: Prepare and process purchase orders, follow up on purchase orders, arrange daily collections or deliveries
- Ensure all procurement documentation is accurate before goods receipt and submission to Accounts Department
- Supplier Management: Source materials and services from suppliers, negotiate pricing, quality, delivery and payment terms
- Make procurement recommendations and conduct supplier audits
- Procurement Administration : Administer and maintain supplier agreements and contracts
- Maintain and update material standards, exchange rates and raw material trends
- Provide sample components for development and quality approval
- Inventory and Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with Stores Department to monitor inventory levels
- Compliance and Reporting: Compile and submit weekly and monthly procurement reports
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain principles
- Understanding procurement legislation and compliance requirements
- Computer literate, SAP, ERP system knowledge required
