Position: Diesel Pump Technician (Diesel Fuel Injection Technician)

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Diesel Pump Technician with extensive experience in diesel fuel injection systems!

Location: Centurion, Gauteng
Salary: R20,000 - R23,000 + Commission
Working Hours: 7:00am - 5:00pm

Description:

• Trade certificate as a diesel mechanic
• Minimum 8 years specialized experience
• Diesel fuel injection pump repair expertise (all mechanical types)
• Injector repair and calibration experience
• Common rail systems knowledge

Essential Experience:

• Repairing diesel fuel injection pumps (all mechanical types)
• Calibrating and testing fuel injection systems
• Injector repair and maintenance
• Common rail system diagnostics and repairs
• Advanced fault finding and troubleshooting
• Test bench operation and diagnostic tools proficiency

Technical Skills:

• Extensive knowledge of diesel engine systems
• Proficiency with test benches and diagnostic equipment
• Calibration and precision adjustment capabilities
• Comprehensive understanding of fuel injection technology
• Electronic and mechanical diagnostics

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and overhaul diesel fuel injection pumps
• Test and calibrate injectors to manufacturer specifications
• Diagnose and repair common rail systems
• Perform accurate testing using specialized equipment
• Conduct fault finding and troubleshooting
• Ensure quality control and precision in all work
• Maintain service records and documentation
