Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure smooth machine operations continue to run smoothly, systems operate efficiently and the physical condition of the machines do not deteriorate
• Inspect drivers , motors, belts , bearings , replace filters and perform other maintenance actions following checklists
• Be able to comply with Food Safety standards
• Assemble, install, and repair, pipe system ans plumbing machinery and equipment on steam and waterlines
• Ensure that the department complies with all Health & Safety regulations
• Diagnose and correct mechanical issues
• Inspect , operate and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine for malfunctions
• Direct and train workers to install , maintain mechanical and electrical equipment
• Record maintenance and repair work performed
• Clean and lubricate shafts ,bearings , gears and other parts of machinery
• Manage projects and machine installations

• Grade 12
• 3 Years experience
• Must have Millwright trade test
• 3 - 4 years of post -trade experience
• PLC/VSD drivers experience
• Panel wiring experience
• Ability to priortize workload
• Report writing and analysis on job cards
• Monitoring apprentices
• Must be able to work shifts and be available callouts and standby
• Driver's license with transpot
• Hands on experience with installation , maintenance and repairs of machinery such as mixers , ovens, proofers , conveyors , slicers and packaging equipment
