Description
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead process design, development, and optimisation for plant and system projects
  • Perform process simulations, mass and energy balances, PFDs and P&IDs
  • Provide technical input during concept, FEED, and detailed design phases
  • Conduct HAZOPs, risk assessments, and ensure compliance with engineering standards
  • Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, and project teams to ensure integrated solutions
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical decision-making
  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, design calculations, and project deliverables
Minimum Requirements
  • BEng / BTech / MEng in Chemical Engineering
  • Minimum 710 years experience in process engineering
  • Strong experience in process design within industrial, chemical, mineral processing, petrochemical or related sectors
  • Proficiency in process simulation tools (e.g., Aspen, HYSYS, SysCAD or similar)
  • Experience with HAZOPs, design reviews, and engineering standards
  • Strong technical reporting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work across multiple projects and deliver to deadline
