Commercial Systems and Data Analyst

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Commercial Systems and Data Analyst to join a forward-thinking and dynamic environment in Johannesburg. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong systems, data, and commercial analytics experience within the motor industry or aftermarket parts sector.

Purpose of the Role:
To ensure best practice development, implementation, and management of all systems and data within the commercial portfolio, including product catalogues, customer marketplaces, business analytics tools and datasets, telephony and planning tools, and sales and revenue analytics.
This role is responsible for implementing and maintaining IT business solutions, ensuring the Company remains at the forefront of industry trends, customer experience, revenue generation, diversification, and governance.

Duties:

• Commercial systems maintenance, development, and implementation
• Commercial data maintenance, configuration, and analysis
• Automation and project management
• Strategic contribution and planning
• Strong knowledge of commercial IT business solutions, systems, and data
• SQL proficiency
• Extensive knowledge of data warehouse and data analytics tools and principles
• Business automation and robotics knowledge within a finance environment
• Understanding of financial and management reporting principles within the motor industry
• Strong knowledge of the motor industry and parts market
• Technical product knowledge within the aftermarket parts wholesale and retail environment
• Project management skills

Minimum Requirements:

• Relevant degree
• 3–5 years’ experience in similar roles and industries
• NQF Level 7 or higher (NQF Level 8 preferred)
