Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support to production by assisting with process optimization, troubleshooting, and ensuring efficient machine operation.Collect and analyse production data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for process improvement.Support engineering projects, including the implementation of new systems, tools, or process improvementsMonitor production processes to maintain product quality, reduce scrap, and ensure equipment reliability.Manage technical resources and inventory by monitoring supplies and coordinating the purchase of equipment or materials.Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality standards, GMP practices, and food safety systems.Key RequirementsGrade 12 with a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.25 years relevant engineering or manufacturing experience.Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, raw materials, moulds, and downstream production equipment.Experience with extrusion blow moulding and mechanical fitting/turning is advantageous.Strong problem-solving, fault-finding, and technical analysis skills.Good communication, project coordination, administrative, and software proficiency skills.
