Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales of telematics products and services, building client relationships, and providing technical insights to support customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the telematics and firmware sector.
- Present and promote telematics solutions to fleet operators, logistics companies, and technology-driven businesses.
- Understand client requirements and tailor solutions that integrate firmware and telematics systems.
- Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, presentations, negotiations, and closing deals.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless implementation and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline in CRM systems.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in telematics and IoT.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in B2B sales, preferably in telematics, IoT, or firmware-based solutions.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of embedded systems, firmware integration, and telematics platforms.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel within KwaZulu-Natal.
