Description
Responsibilities:
- Produce and update mechanical designs and drawings using SolidWorks and/or AlphaCAM
- Interpret engineering drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Support production costing by applying suitable materials and LEAN manufacturing processes
- Assist with preparing accurate cost estimates and quotations
- Maintain and manage technical and costing documentation
- Liaise with suppliers, production, and internal teams to confirm materials, processes, and costs
- Contribute innovative ideas to improve product design and manufacturing efficiency
- Solid understanding of mechanical drawings and BOMs
- Production costing and manufacturing process knowledge
- Experience with SolidWorks and/or AlphaCAM
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
