Description
Duties:
- Assemble, install, test and maintain any mechanical equipment
- Ensuring minimum downtime in the event of breakdown
- Troubleshooting
- Ensure all maintenance activities are performed to set quality standards without rework
- Fault finding
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems and equipment to locate cause of breakdown
- Mechanical preventative maintenance
- Maintain high quality standard of work at all times and under pressure
- Undertake all maintenance activities in a safe and efficient manner
- Ensure machines are maintained to OEM standards
- N6 Trade Tested advantageous
- Minimum 10 years experience in Automotive Industry.
- Thorough understanding of safety regulations
- Sound knowledge of mechanical equipment
- Be able to deliver and maintain high quality work and standards
- Willing to work shifts and overtime when needed
- Experience in Installation & Commissioning for installations
- Familiar with mechanical systems such as welding, part fabrication
- Be able and willing to travel and work away from home from time to time
- Basic Rigging, Working at Heights, Welding, etc.
- Be able to read and understand drawings
- Drivers License essential
