Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Use and read all types of measuring equipment
- Understand the working principle of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Attend to all machine breakdowns
- Interpret technical drawings
- General Turning and machining
- Perform machine settings and changes when requested
- Identify quality issues and report
- Complete PM check with Maintenance system ODIN
- Participate with monthly stock take, rectification of variances and spare part control
- Manufacturing of spare parts and changes to parts
- Updating and control of Engineering drawings
- Assist with Tooling and new equipment try-outs
- Daily checking on crucial equipment like, cooling towers & compressors.
- Housekeeping in Maintenance areas and where engineering work or repairs is carried out in the company
- Trade test qualifications
- 5 years working experience in manufacturing or engineering department
- Electrical experience - Advantage
- Strong Mechanical knowledge or Skills
- Valid drivers License
- Own transport
