Project Manager

What you will own

• Full project delivery from concept and FDS through procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Commercial accountability for budgets, forecasts, quotations, orders, payment certificates, and invoicing.
• Client and stakeholder management to translate operational needs into executable solutions and secure repeat business.
• Safety and compliance including adherence to the Mine Health and Safety Act and company safety standards.
• Quality assurance through QCP and QC inspections and continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience and qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in Project Management within the mining or heavy engineering sectors.
• Degree: BEng or BSc in Mechanical, Electrical, Metallurgical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Project Management qualification required.

Core responsibilities and skills

• Manage multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors across Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation scopes.
• Technical ownership: review designs and technical documents, compile FDS, and accept design and execution responsibility.
• Project planning and scheduling with robust risk management and milestone control.
• Commercial management: budgeting, financial forecasting, contract generation, negotiation, order management, and invoicing.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance and lead site-level safety culture.
• Drive quality and client satisfaction through inspections, feedback loops, and corrective actions.
• Take responsibility for on-time, on-budget execution and successful project handover.
