Mechanical Engineer (machine design)

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for turning engineering concepts into practical mechanical solutions by:

• Designing and developing mechanical systems and industrial machinery from concept through to production.
• Producing detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and complete design documentation.
• Performing engineering calculations including stress analysis, load calculations, and material selection.
• Working closely with manufacturing teams to ensure that designs are practical, cost-effective, and manufacturable.
• Supporting prototype development, testing, and validation of machine designs.
• Assisting with installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment.
• Collaborating with electrical and automation engineers to integrate mechanical systems with control and automation components.
• Ensuring that designs comply with engineering standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will bring a combination of strong design capability and practical engineering experience:

• BEng / BSc / BTech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 37 years experience in machine design or industrial equipment design.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar platforms.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with design for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills.
