Mechanical Draughtsman

The Draughtsman will be responsible for producing accurate and detailed technical drawings for mining-related structures, including steelwork, storage tanks, and piping systems. This role requires precision, technical expertise, and close collaboration with engineering teams to ensure that designs meet industry standards.

ð??¼ Key Responsibilities:

• â?? Prepare detailed drawings for structural steel, tanks, and piping systems
• â?? Interpret engineering designs and convert them into technical drawings
• â?? Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure accuracy
• â?? Revise drawings based on feedback and project/site requirements
• â?? Ensure compliance with relevant industry codes and standards
• â?? Maintain drawing registers and proper documentation control

ð??? Minimum Requirements:

• â?? Diploma/Certificate in Draughting or Mechanical Engineering
• â?? 37 years experience in mining or heavy industrial environments
• â?? Proven experience in:
  • Structural steel detailing
  • Tank design (storage/process tanks)
  • Piping layouts and isometrics
• â?? Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, or similar)
• â?? Strong understanding of industry standards and specifications
