Our client is a dynamic water management company committed to delivering efficient, sustainable, and client-focused water solutions. They are are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional to join their team in a dual role combining bookkeeping and customer service oversight.

Position Summary

The Bookkeeper & Customer Services Coordinator will be responsible for managing the companys financial records while also overseeing customer service operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, financial accuracy, and the ability to ensure a high standard of client engagement and satisfaction. This is a half-day position with the possibility of becoming a full-time role based on business needs and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bookkeeping Duties
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are properly recorded
  • Process accounts payable and receivable
  • Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budgeting processes
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Manage invoicing, collections, and payment tracking
  • Utilize QuickBooks for all accounting functions
Customer Service Oversight
  • Oversee daily customer service operations and ensure timely response to client queries
  • Maintain and improve customer service standards and processes
  • Handle escalated customer issues professionally and efficiently
  • Coordinate with operations teams to ensure service delivery meets client expectations
  • Maintain customer records and communication logs
  • Assist in developing customer retention strategies
Minimum Requirements
  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar financial role
  • Mandatory experience using QuickBooks
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Experience in customer service or customer relations management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant bookkeeping or accounting qualification
  • Experience supervising or coordinating customer service functions
