Sub Contractor/ Tooling Assistant

Location: Boksburg / East Rand

Full Time

· Assist staff tooling times with tools and equipment

· Assist with update of prices of goods and raw material on computer

· Buying of all Electrical consumables

· Buying of all items necessary to stock tool store for the Factory

· Buying of all local Tooling and Consumables - including all wrapping and packaging material

· Buying of all stationery and printer consumables

· Buying of Diesel

· Buying of Tooling needed for Factory Maintenance

· Chase all orders placed by the buying department

· Chasing of raw material and other orders

· Do all the POs, As well as receipt them

· Do Buyer duties when needed

· Do Heading department requirement purchases

· Do the Tool store times 4 times a day

· Filing of all Material Certificates

· Filing of Test Certificates

· Handling of Complaints and Breakdowns

· Keeping Buying book up to date on Excell spread sheet

· Making out orders for Sub-contractors

· Making sure all goods are signed for

· Making sure all tool store procedures are followed

· Negotiating of prices with different suppliers

· Ordering Gas for Company

· Planning of raw material and ordering from Mills

· Purchasing of the required PPE

· Receipting consumables

· Receipting of all goods purchased

· Receipting of all Steel and obtaining invoices from suppliers

· Responsible for Tool store (stock, neatness and issuing)

· Retrieving of Material Certificates

· Run reorder report and order stock required

· Sourcing and Buying of Raw Material (Consumables), etc

· Transfer of raw material to wip on computer

· Update of prices of goods and raw material on computer
