We are a specialized engineering shop based in the heart of Boksburg. We pride ourselves on high-quality workmanship, specializing in general fabrication, welding, and precision turning. With a fully equipped workshop and a skilled technical team, we are ready to take on more volume and are looking for a dedicated "Rainmaker" to help grow our project pipeline.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Independent Technical Sales Representative to act as the face of our shop. You will be responsible for hunting new business, opening doors with Tier 1 contractors, and securing fabrication and machining contracts within the Gauteng industrial and mining sectors.

This role is perfect for:

  • A retired Engineering Foreman or Project Manager with a "gold-plated" contact list.

  • An active industrial rep selling complementary products (tooling, PPE, consumables) looking for a high-commission sideline.

  • A freelance sales professional with deep roots in the East Rand industrial hubs (Jet Park, Anderbolt, Isando, etc.).

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and secure new fabrication, welding, and turning contracts.

  • Leverage your existing network to get our shop onto "Approved Vendor Lists."

  • Conduct site visits to assess client needs and bring back job specifications for quoting.

  • Act as the primary link between the client and our Boksburg workshop.

Requirements
