Job Description:Develop efficient designs that prioritize simplicity, feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and accuracyPrepare assemblies and detailed manufacturing drawings in line with recognized industry standardsCreate part specifications, bills of materials (BOMs), production orders, and manualsImplement Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) within existing designsIssue revisions and updates to manufacturing drawings, material lists, and equipment manualsProduce layout drawings for customer manufacturing facilitiesDraft Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)Provide technical support during manufacturing processes and assists technicians on siteSkills & Experience: At least 3 years of experience in machine design and manufacturingA minimum of 2 years of experience with CAD softwareProficient computer skills, including MS Word, MS Excel, and 2D CADDemonstrated competence in 3D CAD for machine designAbility to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a teamWillingness and ability to travel nationally and internationallyMust be positive, self-motivated, and dependableQualification:A minimum of a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is required Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
