Key Responsibilities:

  • Site Assessments and Surveys: Conduct site assessments to identify challenges and opportunities, ensuring the design is suitable for the intended use.
  • Project Coordination: Lead or support project teams in the execution of design and construction plans, maintaining timelines and quality standards.
  • Sustainability Focus: Design for operational efficiency and sustainability, considering energy use, waste management, and environmental impact in design solutions.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure designs meet regulatory standards for health, safety, and environmental laws.
  • Problem Solving: Offer engineering solutions to resolve any issues during design, construction, or operational phases of the project.
  • Cost and Budget Management: Estimate costs and prepare budgets for design and construction phases, ensuring adherence to financial constraints
Key Requirements:
  • Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Experience:
    • Proven experience as a Structural or Design Engineer.
    • Prior experience in abattoir design, food processing, or related industrial facility design is preferred.
    • Experience with structural analysis and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, etc.).
