KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential:
Location: Zambia
Project Duration: 6 Months (Jan - Jun 2026)
Rotation: 3 weeks on / 1 week off
Remuneration:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Transformation Leadership
- Management System development
- Contractor Management & Integration
- Performance and Safety Integration
- Stakeholder Collaboration
Essential:
- 10+ years mining operations experience, with at least 5 years in underground mining
- Proven track record leading operational transformation or performance improvement programmes
- Deep understanding of underground mining production systems, development, and support functions
- Experience implementing structured management routines and performance management systems
- Strong knowledge of mining safety systems and safety culture development
- Experience working with contractor/Business Partner operating models
- Demonstrated ability to drive change in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Fit for site medical and fitness required.
- Experience with African mining operations, particularly copper mining
- Familiarity with room-and-pillar or similar underground mining methods
- Previous work in turnaround or ramp-up scenarios
- Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience with Business Partner/contractor management models
- Degree in Mining Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Mine Manager's Certificate or equivalent senior mining qualification
- Safety leadership certification
Location: Zambia
Project Duration: 6 Months (Jan - Jun 2026)
Rotation: 3 weeks on / 1 week off
Remuneration:
- All project costs covered plus per diem.
