Key Responsibilities:Provide technical support to the maintenance team by performing repairs and maintenance on buildings, doors, windows, framing, and grounds.Assist facilities team members and subcontractors with technical tasks and coordination.Ensure costâ??effective operations through proper care and use of equipment, tools, materials, and supplies.Adhere to all approved HSE, Quality Assurance, and environmental procedures.Assist with estimating materials and labour required for assigned tasks.Support Project Managers in scoping, scheduling, and resourcing a variety of propertyâ??maintenance and projectâ??related activities.Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.Attend afterâ??hours callâ??outs or emergencies when required.Provide progress updates on all assigned projects.Carry out additional duties as directed by the Project Manager.Coordinate and complete maintenance and project work on time, within budget, and within scopesetting deadlines, allocating tasks, and monitoring progress. (All work is performed in conjunction with the Project Manager.)Reporting Structure:This role reports to the relevant Project Manager for each site, as well as the CEO as needed.Over time, the successful candidate may also oversee technicians or subcontractors when managing their own assigned sites.Person Specification:Essential QualificationsClass 1 Drivers LicenceDesirable QualificationsSite SafeWorking at HeightsFirst Aid CertificationExperience, Skills & AttributesPractical, handsâ??on experience and confidence working on the tools.Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks.Strong communication skills with clients, managers, and office staff.Reliable, honest, and wellâ??mannered in all interactions.Ability to identify potential Health & Safety risks on site.Selfâ??motivated with strong initiative.Proven problemâ??solving skills.Ability to multitask across varied projects.High attention to detail and commitment to delivering excellent workmanship.
