CONTROL ROOM OPERATOR – METER TAXI COMPANY

Metro Taxis (Metro89 Transport Services) is seeking a reliable, alert, and highly organized Control Room Operator to join our team.

Requirements:

✅Excellent memory with the ability to think quickly and make sound decisions

✅Ability to manage a high–volume switchboard and dispatch calls to drivers via 2-way radio

✅ Strong communication skills with fluency in English

✅ IsiZulu proficiency an advantage

✅Solid knowledge of Pietermaritzburg and surrounding areas

✅Must reside within a 15km radius of Orient Heights (Pietermaritzburg)

✅Minimum 2 years’ experience in a control room or call centre environment

✅Ability to work day and night shifts

✅Valid driver’s licence required

✅Good health, sober habits, and no criminal record
