We are in search of a detail-oriented and experienced Risk and Compliance Officer to join our team.
They will also ensure the company is compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of risk management techniques, audit processes, and legal guidelines within our industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement company policies and regulations.
- Ensure all departments are in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Identify and evaluate risks and compliance issues within the organization.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
- Prepare reports detailing the risk areas and providing risk mitigation recommendations.
- Provide training to employees about the latest risk management and compliance protocols.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in regulatory norms and laws that apply to the business.
- Work with other departments to create a culture of compliance within the organization.
- The candidate will be responsible for identifying, assessing and monitoring company risks.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Risk and Compliance Officer or similar role.
Knowledge of legal requirements and controls (e.g. Anti-Money Laundering, or AML).
Familiarity with industry practices and professional standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Integrity and professional ethics.
Teamwork skills.
Attention to detail.
Professional certification (e.g. Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP)) is a plus.
