Project Proposal Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle from enquiry, proposal development and tender submission through to project execution, commissioning and final handover.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, develop project costing models, evaluate commercial risks and ensure all submissions comply with contractual and technical requirements.
• Coordinate Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing and Installation activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule and within budget.
• Monitor project profitability, cash flow, scope changes, variation orders and overall commercial performance while identifying opportunities to improve margins.
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and subcontractors by leading technical and commercial meetings and managing project communication throughout execution.
• Review engineering documentation, interpret technical drawings and process flow diagrams, coordinate design approvals and support manufacturing planning.
• Work closely with procurement teams to manage supplier performance, material deliveries, manufacturing schedules and international suppliers where required.
• Drive continuous improvement by enhancing proposal processes, project procedures, ERP utilisation, reporting dashboards and best practices across the business.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical or Process Engineering.
• 510 years' experience managing engineering projects from proposal through to completion.
• Proven experience in Proposal Management, Tender Management and Project Management within industrial manufacturing or EPC environments.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing project budgets, profitability and contract negotiations.
• Previous exposure to mining, industrial engineering, manufacturing, process plants or related industries.
• Experience within industrial filtration or technical textiles will be highly advantageous.
