Internal Sales Administrator ( Packaging Industry)

Purpose of the Role
The Internal Sales Administrator plays a critical role in supporting the sales function by managing customer accounts, coordinating sales administration, and ensuring the smooth processing of orders from quotation through to delivery. This role requires excellent organisational skills, strong communication, attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset, while supporting a business committed to sustainability and innovation in packaging solutions.
Key Responsibilities / Duties
Sales & Administration Support
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the sales team to ensure efficient daily operations
Prepare, process, and manage customer quotations, sales orders, and invoices accurately and timeously
Maintain and update the CRM system with customer details, sales activity, leads, and pipeline information
Maintain and update the sales filing system (electronic and hard copy)
Customer & Supplier Liaison
Liaise with customers and suppliers to provide product information, pricing, and order status updates
Handle customer queries professionally and escalate complaints where necessary to ensure swift resolution
Support existing customers with repeat business and product extensions
Identify and manage new business opportunities and enquiries
Logistics & Order Fulfilment
Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfilment
Manage logistics locally and internationally
