Were seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Setter to support a fast-paced engineering plastics environment, handling mould changes, machine setups, troubleshooting, and process optimisation across various polymer types. Youll ensure quality output, stable production runs, and efficient cycle times while maintaining high safety and workmanship standards within a modern moulding facility.Education & ExperienceMatric / Grade 12 (required)Certificate or training in Injection Moulding or Polymer Processing (advantageous)35 years proven experience as an Injection Moulding Setter in an engineering or precision-plastics environmentExperience with machines ranging from small to large tonnage (approx. 50360 ton)Key DutiesPerform safe and efficient mould changes and machine setupsConfigure and optimise machine parameters for quality and cycle time improvementTroubleshoot moulding defects (short shots, flash, warpage, burns, etc.)Conduct first-off inspections and ensure quality standards are metMonitor running production and maintain process stabilityHandle various engineering polymers and material changeoversWork with tooling, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve issuesComplete all relevant production, setup, and quality documentationMaintain good housekeeping and adhere to all safety proceduresApply now!
