Financial Accountant

As the Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for the full financial accounting function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and support for commercial decision-making.
This role offers exposure to complex manufacturing environments, cost structures, and operational financeperfect for a newly qualified CA(SA) ready to transition from audit into industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly financial statements, reconciliations, and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal controls, and audit requirements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Assist with cost accounting, stock counts, and asset management.
• Partner with operational teams to improve financial processes and efficiencies.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Education: CA(SA) newly qualified.
• Experience: Completed articles with exposure to auditing manufacturing sector clients (non-negotiable).
• Skills: Strong IFRS knowledge, advanced Excel, and experience on ERP systems beneficial.
• Other: Analytical thinker, strong attention to detail, proactive, eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment.
