Financial Accountant

Job & Company Description:
A well-established manufacturing company is seeking a highly skilled Accountant with strong reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and tax experience to join their finance team based in Pretoria North.

This permanent role is ideal for a technically strong individual with a solid understanding of costing and management reporting within a production or manufacturing environment. You will take ownership of financial analysis, management reporting, cost control, budgeting, and forecastingsupporting operational performance and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyse financial reports, management accounts, budgets, and forecasts
• Perform cost and management accounting functions, including product costing and variance analysis
• Support operational teams with financial insights to improve performance and cost efficiency
• Oversee tax compliance and assist with tax-related submissions and planning
• Strengthening internal controls and ensuring adherence to company policies and financial frameworks
• Contribute to month-end and year-end processes with accuracy and efficiency

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• BCom with completed articles
• 5 years post-articles experience (preferably in manufacturing)
• Strong cost and management accounting experience
• Proven skills in reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and tax
• Experience within the manufacturing industry is essential
