Senior Automation Test Analyst

As a Senior Automation Test Analyst, you’ll work within the IT Service Management team and collaborate across the business to ensure high-quality delivery for the platform. You’ll be part of a larger testing practice, driving quality, governance, and automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan & Estimate: Participate in planning, sizing, and estimation for features and change requests.
• Deliver Quality: Provide well-structured QA solutions within agreed timelines.
• Issue Management: Report and resolve issues promptly to avoid delays and extra costs.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to retrospectives and process improvements for faster, high-quality delivery.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Leads, Developers, Architects, Product Owners, and other stakeholders.
• Automation: Implement and maintain test automation frameworks and regression packs.
• Testing: Perform functional, automation, and non-functional testing (load, high-availability, recoverability).
• Defect Management: Log defects accurately and assist with root cause analysis.
• Reporting: Provide regular testing status updates to stakeholders.
• Knowledge Sharing: Stay updated on QA trends and share technical advancements.
• Culture & Growth: Support business strategy, personal development, and culture-building initiatives.

Skills & Experience

• Industry: 5+ years in Investment Platforms or Financial Services.
• Testing: 6–10 years in Software Quality Engineering.
• Tools: Jira, Confluence, Zephyr; Selenium, UFT.
• Frameworks: Linear, Data-driven, Keyword-driven, Hybrid.
• Coding: Strong experience in Java, C#, etc.
• Methodology: Agile experience.
• Specialized Knowledge: Sonata RDA integrations, functional and automation testing standards.
• Leadership: Experience leading large projects and driving test planning and execution.

Knowledge Required

• Deep understanding of investment and life products.
• Knowledge of financial services regulations.
• Ability to deliver solutions that delight financial advisers.
• Strong grasp of change management processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Advanced diploma or degree.
• ISTQB Foundation in Software Testing.
