Company and Job Description: My client is seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious SAICA or SAIPA Article Clerk to join their dynamic finance team and grow within the role.As an Accountant, you will gain valuable, hands-on experience across real-world accounting functions while working alongside experienced professionals who will mentor and support you throughout your training. This opportunity is ideal for a candidate who is committed to qualifying as a Financial Accountant and is eager to build a strong foundation in a supportive, fast-paced environment. As an Accountant, your key responsibilities will include:Assisting with the processing of financial transactions and maintaining general ledger accounts.Supporting month-end and year-end closing procedures.Preparing reconciliations, financial reports, and supporting documentation.Assisting with statutory submissions, including VAT, PAYE, and other regulatory requirements.Participating in audits and financial review processes.Applying and developing knowledge of IFRS and core accounting principles in practical, day-to-day scenarios.Job Experience and Skills Required:Completed SAICA/SAIPA articlesBCom Accounting or related degree1 2 years post article experience would be beneficial Solid understanding of accounting principlesStrong Excel skills and experience with accounting software (e.g. Pastel, Xero, Sage)Detail-oriented, reliable, and eager to learn Apply now!
