Management Accountant

A highly respected, multinational market leader specializing in global tax compliance and cross-border transactional financial services is seeking a commercially agile Management Accountant to join their high-performing division in Johannesburg.

This is far from a standard, static bookkeeping desk. This role is a strategic launchpad designed for a newly qualified or developing CIMA/CGMA professional who wants to transition raw operational data into high-level corporate direction. Key Responsibilities:

• Forward-Looking Financial Planning: Take active ownership of the budgeting, rolling forecasting, and financial modeling processes to map out global operational growth.
• Dual-Focus Reporting & Analysis: Compile and interpret both internal management packs and statutory financial reporting elements, ensuring absolute transparency and accuracy for executive review.
• Deep-Dive Variance Modeling: Perform comprehensive variance analysis, evaluating actual monthly performance against targets to isolate cost drivers and revenue leakage.
• Strategic Advisory & Recommendations: Translate complex financial metrics into actionable, high-level business recommendations aimed at driving corporate profitability and resource optimization.
• Cross-Functional Business Partnering: Collaborate deeply across regional and operational departments, providing high-touch internal stakeholder support to non-financial divisional leaders.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• A completed CIMA or CGMA qualification (ACMA/FCMA) is non-negotiable.
• Newly Qualified (NQ) up to 3 years of post-qualification corporate accounting or commercial finance experience.
• Candidates from any complex operational background (e.g., financial services, technology, logistics, or manufacturing) are encouraged to apply.
