Apply a range of valuation methodologies including DCF, EV/EBITDA, EV/EBIT, PE, and P/NAV
Perform detailed financial statement analysis and company evaluations
Conduct thorough due diligence investigations on potential transactions
Prepare discussion papers and transaction proposals
Support transaction execution across corporate finance engagements
Take responsibility for portfolio company reporting
Liaise effectively with portfolio companies and internal stakeholders
Ensure timely delivery of work and adherence to deadlines
Maintain high standards of accuracy, professionalism, and work ethic
Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 3 years experience in a valuation or corporate finance role
Strong technical understanding of valuation techniques and financial analysis
Experience in corporate finance transactions and deal support
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High level of tenacity, discipline, and attention to detail
Qualification:
CA(SA) qualification essential
Additional Requirements / Candidate Profile:
Post-articles experience of at least 6 years advantageous
Preference may be given to female candidates from designated groups; however, all commercially strong candidates will be considered
Self-starter with a driven mindset and strong work ethic
